Ingredients

  • 1⅓ oz vodka
  • ½ oz Cointreau
  • 1 oz Bambina Cordial
  • Finish: a squeeze of fresh lime and a cloud of “Bambina Foam”
  • Garnish: lime twist
  •

Bambina Cordial:

A blend of sugar, lime and La Bambina rosé wine. Prepare 6 hours in advance and leave to infuse.

Bambina Foam:

1⅔ oz La Bambina + 0.07 oz soy lecithin, whisked vigorously to create a light, airy foam.

A timeless classic, made famous by stars like Madonna and the TV series Sex and the City: the Cosmopolitan, the quintessential cocktail of glamorous New York nights, meets the lightness of La Bambina.

The original blend’s bold, fresh, tangy flavour is softened by the Cordial and the Bambina Air, which gently fades away on the palate.

Ingredients

  • 1⅓ oz peach and apple purée
  • ⅓ oz lemon juice
  • Top up with La Bambina

Garnish:

  • Peach slice
  • Lemon twist

From the blue waters of Menfi, La Bambina has made her way to the Venetian lagoon, where she’s playfully reinvented one of the world’s best-known cocktails: the Venetian Bellini.

Rosé wine, apple and juniper give the original a bolder, more assertive edge. Not at all intimidated by the “Queen of the Adriatic”, La Bambina shows off her full character here.

Ingredients

  • 1⅓ oz Cognac
  • ⅔ oz sweet red Vermouth
  • ⅔ oz La Bambina
  • 2 dashes Peychaud’s Bitters

Garnish:

  • Orange twist

The Metropolitan is a variation on the Manhattan that uses Cognac instead of Bourbon whiskey. Our version gives it a cheeky twist, bringing La Bambina into the mix alongside the Vermouth.

The orange peel adds rounded, citrusy notes, bringing together the wine and the other ingredients, all of which are derived from wine.

The bitters, meanwhile, add depth and a lingering finish. Cognac-based, Peychaud’s brings aromatic notes of anise, liquorice and cinnamon.

  • Garnish: orange slice, lime slice and a sprig of fresh mint

La Bambina turns into an aperitif, taking on a playful, summery Spritz twist.

This wine cocktail brings together a delightful balance of contrasting flavours: the bitterness of Campari, the freshness of lemon, and the sweetness of Amaretto and orgeat syrup, all perfectly matched with La Bambina’s lively personality.

WINE COCKTAILS
Mix realizzato da Simone Francini

Ingredienti

  • 40 ml  Cognac
  • 20 ml  Vermouth rosso
  • 20 ml La Bambina
  • 2 gocce Peychaud's Bitter
  • Garnish: buccia d'arancia

Vendemmie calde, vendemmie fresche

Hot vintages, fresh vintages

Our past three vintages in Sicily have been incredibly hot, the 2017 in particular. We have had many days above 100F and, in some occasions, daytime temperatures have risen above 120F, along with muggy nights and continued draught. Many ask: is it possible to make wine in these conditions? And, how can you describe wines made in hot vintages?

Pink Sangria

WINE COCKTAILS
Mix realizzato da Shelly Steinhaus

Frutta fresca mista:

  • Ciliegie denocciolate
  • Ananas e pesche gialle in cubetti

Garnish:

Pink Sangria

Mixed fresh fruit:

  • Pitted cherries
  • Diced pineapple and yellow peaches

Garnish:

  • Orange and lime slices
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Cinnamon stick

Traditionally made with red wine, this version of Sangria is drier and more aromatic, as no sugar is added. The rosé wine’s naturally fruity notes pair beautifully with fresh summer fruit: yellow peaches, pineapple and cherries, with a hint of cinnamon adding an exotic, tropical touch.

For a more Mediterranean twist, citrus fruits and crisp white fruits such as pears and apples make a delicious alternative.

A touch of sweetness comes from the Grand Marnier, which can be replaced with Triple Sec if you prefer an even drier, more refreshing version.

Perfect for sharing with friends over an aperitif on a warm summer evening.
